We use the information you share to prepare your order, contact you about collection, and give you access to your order history.
Information we collect
- Your name, email address, and phone number when you place an order.
- Items, quantities, meal options, special instructions, order notes, totals, payment references, order status, and pickup updates.
- Your choice about WhatsApp order updates and your acceptance of our ordering terms.
- Account login and security information, including password hashes, temporary password expiry, and session information.
- Technical information needed for security and operation, such as IP addresses, request times, and failed login attempts.
We do not ask for a delivery address because orders are collected from the restaurant. Please avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in order notes.
How we use your information
We use this information to process payments, prepare and fulfill orders, send confirmations, provide pickup updates, manage refunds, support your account, respond to questions, prevent misuse, and maintain accounting or other records required by law.
Your email is also used to create your customer account after your first successful payment. If you request a temporary password, we send it to that email. We do not use an order-update preference as permission for unrelated promotional messages.
Payments through Stripe
Stripe processes online payments. When you proceed to payment, Stripe receives information needed to process the transaction, including your order amount and relevant contact and transaction details. You enter your payment credentials on Stripe's payment page.
Our ordering database stores payment identifiers, amounts, and status so we can confirm payments and manage orders. It does not store your full payment card number or card security code. Stripe's handling of information is described in its Privacy policy.
Who can receive information
Authorized restaurant staff can see the information needed to prepare your food and support your order. Service providers supporting payments, email delivery, website hosting, and security may process relevant information for those purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights and prevent fraud.
If you choose WhatsApp updates, staff may use your phone number and order information to contact you through WhatsApp. WhatsApp operates under its own terms and Privacy policy. You may choose not to receive WhatsApp updates; email and telephone remain available.
We do not sell personal information collected by this ordering service. We do not use this ordering service to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
The website uses a session cookie for secure checkout, login, and request protection. Your browser may also store your cart, including item choices and item instructions, so it can survive a refresh. A checkout-attempt identifier helps prevent duplicate requests. Contact form fields are not stored in the saved browser cart.
This ordering website does not include advertising trackers or optional analytics. Stripe's hosted payment page may use its own cookies or similar technologies. Disabling necessary cookies can prevent sign-in or checkout. You can clear your cart or remove stored site data through your browser settings.
Passwords and security
Permanent and temporary passwords are stored as password hashes for sign-in. Temporary passwords sent by email expire and must be replaced after use. Temporary credentials waiting to be sent are protected in the email queue. We use access controls and transport encryption when the website is served over HTTPS.
No system can guarantee complete security. Keep your email account and password secure, use a unique password, and log out of shared devices.
Retention
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for orders, support, security, accounting, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Some transaction records may need to be retained even if you ask us to close your account. Temporary access credentials expire automatically; expired credentials cannot be used to sign in.
Your choices and requests
You can view your order history and change your password in your account. Contact us to correct contact information, request access to personal information, request deletion or account closure, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before handling a request, and some requests may be subject to applicable legal exceptions.
You may withdraw your WhatsApp preference by contacting the restaurant or telling staff in the conversation. We may still send essential service emails or contact you about an active order. Where applicable, you have additional privacy rights under the laws that apply to you, including California privacy law; we will handle eligible requests without unlawful discrimination.
External services and updates
Payment, map, and WhatsApp links open third-party services that have their own privacy practices. This policy covers our restaurant's ordering website. We may update it when our practices change; the current version and update date appear on this page.
